Well hello there everyone, i'm in a slightly happy mood because i did just finish my news article which can be read here news.deviantart.com/article/15… and i have received my AS level results!
A in Biology
B in Chemistry

B in Maths
So all in all i did pretty well and im pleased with myself-it also means i can go back to school next year with a positive attitude towards school!

X-Posure

X-Posure is a news article which aims to expose new or unappreciated artists/art fields, and get people enjoying all forms of art and not just the more popular mediums on this site. It also is aiming to bring artists closer together and let them network more.
This week the traditional and digital galleries were scoured for less well known artists and here is what i have found-my top five artists!
Now this artist has only been on Deviantart for a week and already they stand out to me. His work is bold and graphic making it interesting to look at. A lot of Zombiraptor's work is of animals of game characters, but that doesn't stop him from having a variety, where every single piece has its own characteristics and story to tell. Definitely a person to be keeping your eye on!

Juvnile has been on deviant art for two years and has still only managed to accumulate less than 100 pageviews when his artwork is breathtaking! Each piece is filled with colour-with most of his work being vector icons. His work always seems cutting edge and he defintely needs more recognition.
Here we have another artist who hasn't been on Deviantart for very long but has still managed to make quite an impact so far. Asbestolee has quite a varied gallery, from a little bit of digital art to his main area of work-being street art. All his work it trying to push boundaries in the niche that it fits into and i can definitely see this artist popping up a lot more in the future!
Now this artist really jumps out at you with her amazing ability to create fantastic creatures out of clay. Her style does vary but essentially fantasy creature are Leaves4clovers forte, with her dragons being one of the most impressive things i've seen for a while here on DA. Compared to some of the other artist featured so far, her work is a little more appreciated but i really thought that she deserved to me features as she is one amazing artist.

So for the final artist i have chosen this amazing person. Her work is always improving with every piece and you can see that as her gallery changes, and she becomes more and more confident with her drawings. She has been around for quite a while on deviantart, and could do with more people noticing her-so what are you waiting for go check out her gallery!

Points and ramblings

So although we are currently allowed to use any skin we want i choose to just use the good old default in hope that people dont particularly mind which skin i use!
So i have started to update my profile and use the new deviantID system -which i think is pretty cool and looks much better than the old one, so hopefully that makes my profile look a little more interesting. I have also put a point donation box on my wall as well because i want the new deviant art bag things which i know will be really useful for me but i doubt i'll be able to get it any time soon.
I have also realised that the most active community on deviant art here seems to be the emoticon community and i feel that the other niches of DA need to be exposed and brought together more so i think that i will try to help that in the future!

The London riots

So i'm sure most people must have heard by now about the london riots which are sweeping across this city-its been a rough few days :/ luckily enough the area i live is one of those places where there isn't much to loot. So, because of this people have gone down the road to the areas around me so i'm pretty safe but i don't really want to venture much out of my house at the moment because i'm scared of what i might see-humans have really shown their true nature over the last few days, and it's not even the minority.
